French Champagne Soiree

On Wednesday 7 May, I was joined by 25 divine Travelling Divas to a French Champagne Soiree at Urbane restaurant, run by renowned champagne consultant and educator Bernadette O’Shea.

It was an evening filled with flowing, French bubbles including the beautiful Louis Roederer Brut Premier and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. Each was perfectly accompanied by divine canapés such as herb cured salmon with crème fraiche, crispy pork belly, and jamon with pear chutney on rye (I’m drooling just writing this). Paris! The city of love, the city of lights, but most importantly the city of sweets! Whether Marie Antoinette truly did declare ‘let them eat cake’ is irrelevant because if you’re heading to Paris, I’m demanding it of you now.

Five French Must Dos

There is something truly magical about Paris. Its all-encompassing charm, rolling vineyards, elegantly dressed people, gastronomic delights and champagne bubbles offer an abundance of unique travel experiences just waiting to be discovered.

For those Divas eager to visit the French capital I’ve put together five of my favourite must-do experiences - albeit there are soo many more!
